Hunky Dory on East London's celebrated Brick Lane,was established by Ian Bodenham and Ian Johns in 2008, following 20 years at our previous similar venture ' The Observatory' in Greenwich. We stock both men's and womenswear and accessories from the 1940s to 1970s, sourced primarily in France,Italy and the UK.
Our concept is to source enduring styles in good quality fabrics, with more emphasis on Style than Fashion, or more particularly overexposed 'Trends.' Many of our customers may have been shopping vintage for years, and are looking for a well-edited collection, which we aim to offer as affordably as possible.
Finally, we try to make the shop as welcoming and stimulating an environment as possible.
